I have an absolutely awesome quilt that I am quilting for a client. She pretty much let me go for it. I sent her a couple of sketches for ideas so I knew that what I was thinking was on par with her.
I'm pretty proud of these so far. I am a newbie and am trying to make them as best as I can. They are labour intensive, but excellent practice for me. I can't wait to share the entire quilt with you. I am so excited to be working on it.
It looks fantastic!
ReplyDeleteBe very proud! It looks excellent! And as a newbie myself, I know just how painstaking that ruler work is at first.
ReplyDeleteAll the time spent on it will be so worth it in the end. When you take the quilt off the machine you'll have a "Wow did I do that" moment! Those are the best!
ReplyDeleteWow ! That looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - can't wait to see the whole quilt.
ReplyDeleteso far so good. It is looking awesome. You are a natural!
ReplyDeleteIt's gorgeous! It may be torturous but that texture is worth it.
ReplyDeleteThis is amazing work. I cannot fathom how much thought and effort and intensity much be applied in order to create a piece of art like this. Rock on with your learned self.... I cannot wait to see more as your familiarity with the longarm grows.
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! And it also looks like it must take FOR. EVAH! :) And you're new to long arming? Something tells me you're a rising star in the industry.
ReplyDeleteI love the texture you were able to achieve with all that time consuming ruler work. Looking great!
ReplyDeleteThanks Calgaryquilter! Hey..I'm not able to respond to you via email, you are set to 'no reply blogger'. I'd love to send you a quick note, but cannot!
