Today is the last day...I'm giving away some fabric (most likely Katie Jump Rope or FleaMarket Fancy!) as a thank you for helping me generate a list to help family members (my husband) do some shopping! Okay, I'm doing it because it's fun and I need to get into the mood somehow...
These are all fantastic ideas so far. Do you have a MUST HAVE tool that you would recommend as a stocking stuffer or gift for a quilter? Is there something on YOUR list?
Thread, and more thread! Tape measures too - mine are always disappearing....
ReplyDeleteI thought of another one - a Kwik Klip for basting quilts. I couldn't survive without mine.
ReplyDeleteI love my Shape Cut Plus ruler. It allows me to cut strips of fabric quickly, without constantly moving the ruler.
ReplyDeleteMy list includes a bobbin threader and a new cutting wheel (blade). I always need a spare.
ReplyDeleteHave a happy holiday.
I love the Kwik Klip too, but a good pair of snips for right beside the sewing machine (not allowed to walk anywhere else in the room) and I love the chalkaliner thingamajig! Happy stocking stuffing!
ReplyDeleteI can't imagine quilting before the days of olfa rulers and rotary cutters, so necessary.
ReplyDeleteI've gotten the new sewline pencils and I do like them, though the pink seems to work much better than the white.
You would have to really like her because it is not cheap. But the Bernina Lady's Knife ( http://www.berninausa.com/product_detail-n44-i133-sUS.html ) would be nice to find in your stocking. I had forgotten about it until you challenged me. :)
